What StayProof does

StayProof is a Chrome extension that searches Booking.com, Airbnb, and Agoda simultaneously and cross-references results with Google Maps ratings to help you find trustworthy accommodation.

Data we collect

None. StayProof has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. It never leaves your device.

You can clear all stored data at any time by removing the extension.

Data transmitted to third parties

When you perform a search, StayProof sends your search destination (city name and dates) directly to:

These requests go directly from your browser to each platform, exactly as if you visited those sites yourself. StayProof does not proxy, intercept, or route your data through any StayProof server.

No tracking

StayProof does not use cookies, analytics, telemetry, fingerprinting, or any form of user tracking. There are no third-party SDKs, no Google Analytics, no crash reporting.

No accounts

StayProof does not require sign-up, login, or any form of authentication.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Since StayProof has no way to contact users (no accounts, no email collection), changes take effect when published here.
